We ventured our way down to Humarock Beach late Friday night.  We both woke up early to do a morning workout.  Sean decided to be adventurous and take the new Kayak out to the river and travel 6 miles to the Atlantic Ocean.  Boy was he in heaven, I’m engaged to the REI guy with all his gear packed and ready for this Kayak adventure 🙂  Here are some pictures of him traveling down the river.  Enjoy!jenarayaphotography-kayak-001photo jenarayaphotography-kayak-002photo

He did show up at the cottage soaking wet and sand everywhere.  He took a wave when he was paddling in, ops.  Fun adventures 🙂

Jessica & Mark’s Wedding- Monponsett Inn- Plymouth, MA- June 1, 2013

We had the honest privilege of photographing Jessica Mosman & Mark Frye wedding on June 1, 2013.  It turned out to be a 90 degrees, but gorgeous weather for a gorgeous couple.  We started out taking portraits in Plymouth Harbor and made our way to the Monponsett Inn for the ceremony & reception.  They were surrounded by the people that love them.  This was my first wedding with a second photographer whom was my fiance Sean.  We both couldn’t stop talking about how awesome their wedding was and how incredible their family & wedding party.  They made our job easier and we had so much fun with them.  Thank you to everyone who made Jessica & Mark’s wedding day a day to remember.  Please enjoy!  Jessica & Mark I hope your honeymoon in Hawaii was amazing and we wish you nothing but happiness as you begin your journey as husband & wife

Little did Jessica know, she thought they were going to have their 1st dance as husband and wife, but her hubby surprised her with a song that he song to her.  Even I had to hold back tears.

Setting Goals

I have finally saved up enough money to purchase a Canon Mark III.  This was a goal I had set at the beginning of 2013.  And yesterday I accomplished this goal.  Not only am I growing my business but more importantly its 1 less trip to the camera store to rent equipment.  I know have a back-up camera just in case.  It feels amazing to feel accomplished and reaching for those goals that felt non-existent at times.  Keep reaching for those goals Jen Araya!9P5A5043
